**We're Seeking**:
An energetic and experienced Café Manager to lead our team, grow with us, and help make a difference in our community. If you're someone who can make a good coffee, inspire a team, engage our customers with a smile, all while making a positive change, we want to hear from you

**Café Manager Responsibilities and Duties**:
As the heart and manager of our Good Social Café, you’ll nurture our team and community by:

- Inspiring and guiding our team to create positive, memorable experiences for our guests
- Ensuring our food is carefully prepared, beautifully presented and served.
- Fostering a positive culture within the café, focused on exceptional customer service, teamwork, and making Good Social an enjoyable place to work while helping those in need

Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:

- Leading our café team in day-to-day operations, including staff management, rosters, and team meetings
- Listening to customer feedback and using it to continually enhance our service and menu offerings
- Identifying and implementing strategies to attract and retain customers
- Managing administrative duties such as cash handling, banking, and time sheets
- Managing costs effectively while maintaining our commitment to quality
- Recruiting, onboarding, and nurturing talent within our team
- Ordering stock from our trusted suppliers
- Creating and executing marketing promotions that reflect our café's voice and mission
- Ensuring our café remains a safe and secure environment for everyone

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Proven experience working in a café and as a barista**
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Solid understanding of café operations, including food prep and health regulations
- Business acumen and financial management skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work well under pressure
- Passion for community engagement and social impact
- Valid SA driver's license (desirable)
- First aid and food safety certifications (desirable)
