We are looking for a skilled and motivated Café Cook / Panini Maker with catering experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality food, enjoys working with people, and is capable of running their own kitchen with care and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and serve fresh panini, salads and catering platters to a high standard
  • Manage the kitchen independently, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Uphold excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times
  • Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take responsibility for ordering, stock control, portion control, and food costings
  • Deliver consistent quality in both café service and catering functions

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a cook, panini maker, or in a similar café role
  • Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety & hygiene practices (Food Hygiene Certificate required)
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to food costings, portion control, stock management, and ordering
  • Positive attitude with great customer engagement skills
  • Flexibility to support both daily café service and catering events
  • Australian work rights - NO SPONSORSHIP

Hours & Availability

  • Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm (no evenings or weekends)
  • Must be available to start each day from 6am
  • Casual position to start with, full time work available in the future for right candidate
