**The Opportunity**:
Our Corporate Development team is growing and as a result, ElectraNet is seeking a motivated Business Development Advisor - Telecommunication to join our team and play a vital role in expanding our business.
In this role, you'll be responsible for undertaking a broad range of customer telecommunication project activities that support the delivery of ElectraNet’s regulated and contracted (unregulated) business revenue targets and objectives.. Additionally, you’ll be providing a one-stop-shop consultation support service to maximise revenue.
You'll work closely with internal stakeholders across various departments and develop strong relationships with external partners to ensure success.
In the role you’ll:
- Support in identifying and developing new telecommunication opportunities aligned with ElectraNet's strategic plan, focusing on areas such as bandwidth capacity, dark fibre, connection to customer facilities and site co-location services.
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality proposals, bids, and transaction documents.
- Support the development and negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring they comply with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams from across the business to gather and share critical information to support business development activities.
- Conduct market research and maintain industry intelligence to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
**About You**:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders, coordinate activities and drive resolutions to stakeholder challenges or concerns, to achieve business outcomes that balance governance, risk, legislative, commercial, and business process requirements.
Additionally you will be/have:
- Demonstrable telecommunication experience in a business development or related industry role (essential).
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical, financial, or commercial field (essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- A highly motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
