**The Opportunity**:
ElectraNet is seeking a highly motivated Principal Transmission Advisor (Business Development) to join our team and play a key role in driving our growth strategy. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and commercial acumen to originate, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the transmission sector.

In this role you’ll:

- Collaborate with the Business Development team and other stakeholders to identify, evaluate, and pursue promising commercial opportunities.
- Provide technical and project management leadership to optimize ElectraNet's value proposition for customers.
- Lead the development of commercial and contractual positions for new business ventures.
- Manage project teams and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Business Development function.

**About You**:
The successful applicant will be/have:

- Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Project Management or related (essential)
- A proven professional with extensive experience in project management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of energy project lifecycles, from development and approval to construction and commissioning.
- In-depth knowledge of the Australian energy market and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A collaborative team player with a strong results orientation.
- Experience in high voltage or electrical engineering (highly desirable)
