**About the Role**

In this hands-on role, you’ll support our residents with daily living activities in a way that values their dignity, comfort, independence, and wellbeing. From personal care and mobility support to helping with meals and providing companionship, your work will contribute to a home-like environment where residents feel respected, heard, and safe.

**The responsibilities**
- Supporting residents with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and continence care
- Assisting with meal delivery and supporting residents who need help eating
- Observing and reporting any changes in health or behaviour to clinical staff
- Helping residents with safe transferring and mobility
- Encouraging independence and maintaining a calm, caring, and respectful environment
- Participating in basic wound care and medication support (if appropriately certified)
- Keeping accurate documentation of care provided
- Promoting resident safety, choice, and wellbeing at all times

**About You**

You’re a naturally caring person with a steady, calm presence. You find purpose in being there for others and take pride in helping people live with dignity and independence. You’re a team player, detail-oriented, and confident using mobile devices or tablets to complete documentation.

**You’ll also have**:

- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
- Experience working in aged care or a similar role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to safely perform the requirements of the role
- Basic computer and tech literacy (comfortable using a smartphone or tablet)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or be willing to obtain)

**Desirable (but not essential) qualifications and experience include**:

- Certification in medication administration
- Experience supporting people with dementia or disability
- Additional aged care or health support qualifications
