**About the Role**:
As an Aged Care Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry Assistant, you will be a vital part of our services team, contributing to the daily wellbeing of our residents. In this hands-on role, you will work under the guidance of experienced staff to build your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.

Your work will help create a safe, clean, and homely space for our residents, playing a key role in their comfort and quality of life.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
In this role, you will perform a range of tasks including:

- Assisting kitchen staff with meal preparation, plating, and serving food to residents
- Cleaning and sanitising resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared common areas to maintain hygiene and safety
- Providing support with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and returning personal items and linen
- Working collaboratively with the hospitality and care teams to uphold a high standard of service and care

**Skills and Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- A positive attitude and a professional, reliable approach
- Basic computer skills for completing simple administrative tasks

**The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential**:

- A certificate in basic food or hygiene practices
- Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or aged care
- A genuine interest in developing a career in the aged care industry
