The Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role in Darling Downs Health’s **Critical Care Ward**, where you’ll deliver specialist care to patients with complex and life‑threatening conditions. This position blends **clinical leadership, teaching, and service innovation**—ensuring outstanding patient outcomes while shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

You’ll:

- Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and life‑saving interventions.

- Mentor registrars and residents, fostering a thriving learning environment.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient‑centred care.

- Engage in teaching and research through the **University of Queensland**.

- Contribute to clinical governance, innovation, and service improvements.

What You’ll Bring

- ✔ Fellowship of the **College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM)** or equivalent

- ✔ Current registration with **AHPRA** (Specialist)

- ✔ Demonstrated expertise in Critical Care/ICU

- ✔ Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

- ✔ Commitment to clinical governance, education, and research

- **Competitive remuneration package $368,514 – $460,349 p.a.** (L18–L27)
