**About the business**

**About the role**
The Planner is responsible for maximising profitability by ensuring that they have the right product, in the right quantities, at the right time and in the right place across the store-portfolio.

In your allocated categories you will be responsible for managing the OTB, producing buying plans, inventory management, promotion planning, markdown management, reporting and analysis, cross-department communication, and management and development of an Assistant Planner.

**Skills and experience**
This role would be great for a strong, established Junior Planner / Planner seeking the opportunity to gain high volume trading experience, as well as managing a national store portfolio. To be successful for this position, you will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

- Honed IT systems and Excel skills
- Commercial acumen
- Strong analytical skills
- Influencing and engaging both internal and external stakeholders effectively
