Job Description
  • Develop and implement merchandise planning strategies to meet overall business objectives.
  • Analyse sales data and trends to forecast inventory needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with buying and supply chain teams to ensure stock availability.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimise stock turnover.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales performance and planning outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and minimise stock risks.

The Successful Applicant

About You
  • Proven experience as a merchandise planner.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills for effective decision-making.
  • Familiarity with retail trends and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a results-driven mindset.
  • Experience with NetStock IBP is ideal, not essential.

  • Competitive salary of approximately $95,000-115,000 plus superannuation.
