An exciting opportunity has presented itself for Assurance and Industry Engagement Leads -Assurance and Industry Engagement, Safety, Environment and Wellbeing. One of these roles will be a 12-month contract position and the others will be permanent.
A bit about your role
The Assurance and Industry Engagement Lead, reporting to the Executive Manager Assurance and Industry Engagement will focus on the design and implementation of a risk based National HSE Audit program, across both nbn and its Service Delivery Partners.
The National HSE Audit program is an essential component of nbn’s overall HSE risk and compliance framework, ensuring that nbn meets obligations in accordance with legislation and international standards to which nbn is certified. Importantly, this role will be responsible for leading major investigations into nbn HSE Incidents, hazards, and breaches as part of the nbn Incident Management process.
Additionally, this role will support both internal and external industry stakeholders in continuous improvement and market scanning activities to inform industry best practices and nbn’s continuous improvement plans.
A bit about you
You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner with industry stakeholders in continuous improvement and market scanning activities, to inform and deliver industry best practices.
Your influential nature, coupled with your auditor qualifications and experience working within a high-risk environment, will see you succeed in this role.
Furthermore, you will be a member of a collaborative team, where you will contribute to, positively support and be part of a high-performance team culture to successfully deliver on nbn’s team purpose and strategy.
