Salisbury College Australia (SCA) is a vocational college in the heart of Burwood, consisting of state-of-the-art facilities for our students and employees. We deliver English courses and Vocational courses for international students.

Currently we are looking for an **Accounts Officer** who has anexcellent attention to detail and time management skills to join our accounts team. This role is responsible for the processing of invoices, statement reconciliation, record keeping and ad-hoc reporting for various needs. He/she will also be closely dealing with the collection process of the students' fees team. Someone who is passionate about handling overall accounts related matter will be a great match for this role.

Major payable/receivable duties include:

- Ensure documentation and tracking of commission payable list, expenses receipts and office bills
- To ensure that accurate funds are calculated and transferred to relevant agents within a timely manner
- Getting approval from relevant personnel including PEO before makings payments to any party
- Supporting to examine and analyse operating costs and organisations' income and expenditure
- Reconcile weekly bank statements to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly updated
- Assisting in the preparation and lodgement of monthly or quarterly business activity statements (BAS)
- Understanding of payment plans and accounting procedures and advising students on their payment dues and suitable options
- Accurately updating student’s payment records
- Creating/voiding invoices correctly and timely, and amending invoices appropriately as per the circumstances

**Key selection criteria include**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a similar field. (Not mandatory)
- Previous experience with Accounting softwares (Xero/MYOB) and Learning Management Systems (Wisenet)
- Ability to manage various tasks at the same time
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and to adapt in changing environment;
- Excellent investigative skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Exchange, Word)
- Discretion to handle confidential information and figures
- Strong ethics & high personal integrity

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
