National Sales Manager

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction for foodservice in the distributor channel. This role will be the direct customer contact for PFD, Bidfood and Countrywide and will have one direct report and manage the associated field team.
This is a key leadership position in the foodservice business unit, driving sales and gross margin growth. It requires strong leadership skills with a growth mindset that can embrace change. Cross functional collaboration with colleagues in foodservice commercial and marketing, customer service and finance.
- Build strategic plan to drive sales / share growth with distributors
- Lead implementation of Joint Business Plans with key customers
- Directly manage head office relationships with Bidfood, PFD and Countrywide
- Drive customer engagement at all levels
- Build and implement customer specific promotional programs to maximise sales opportunities
- Lead and coach National Account Executive - Distributors and Field Team to improve personal and business performance
- Lead field execution against agreed KPI's
- Manage demand and forecasting activities of the channel
- Lead and manage financial forecasting, ensuring business performance and profitability targets are achieved.
- Management of systems, processes, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with Company's health and safety policies and procedures
About You
- Experience in FMCG/Foodservice or related industry
- National Account Executive/Manager
- Foodservice/B2B sales experience desirable
- GAP Negotiation Qualified (desirable)Strategic Agility
