Our client is a large federal government agency. They have multiple opportunities available for APS5 and APS6 level Project Officers to join on a long term contracting basis within a newly-formed Hypercare team following the release of a new core enterprise system.
- 12 month contract plus 12 month extensions
- Richmond or Geelong based, with 3 days in the office per week
- Hourly rate of $55.24 to $60.26 plus super depending on level

**The role**
- Developing and managing project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency’s project management framework
- Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders
- Performing independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities
- Coordinating regular project reporting including status updates and exception reports
- Preparing draft written material including business cases, plans, executive briefs and corporate documentation
- Monitoring project budgets, review and report on expenditure and assist with procurement and contract management
- Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues and benefits
- Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs

**About you**
The successful applicant will have:

- Previous experience in project support in Agile/digital environments ,and experience in delivery and support of enterprise software post go-live
- Proven Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate outcomes, drive decision making, and manage conflicting or challenging situations
- Ability to prioritise, plan, allocate and action work
- Experience in Tracking and delivering reports
- Experience in the use of Jira and Confluence would be highly regarded
- Previous experience with and understanding of SAP and Salesforce CRM platforms would be ideal
- Previous federal government experience nice-to-have
