**Overview of the Team**

The Regulatory Performance team supports the Regulatory Operations Group (ROG) and is responsible for conducting internal reviews and assurance activities, strategic and operational planning and reporting, maintaining an informative and effective Group intranet (ROG HUB) site, managing Comcare’s regulatory case management system, the delivery of ROG workforce planning, operational design and business improvement activities and the enhancement of ROG’s capability through the management of key projects and staff development.

**Overview of the Roles**

The Regulatory Performance Officer and Senior Regulatory Performance Officer are part of a small multidisciplinary unit, Systems and Processes, focussed on Regulatory Operations Group (ROG) business processes and technology systems that support regulatory operations activities.

**APS5 Regulatory Performance Officer, Systems and Processes**

The Regulatory Performance Officer is responsible for maintaining an informative and effective intranet site for the Regulatory Operations Group and assisting in the resolution and escalation of regulatory system technical issues and in the development, implementation and review of business processes and procedures.

The Regulatory Performance Officer will maintain a well-developed understanding of relevant statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks, principles, techniques, and practices.

The role will operate under limited direction and liaise with stakeholders on moderately complex to complex policy, project or operational issues, responding to stakeholders’ needs and expectations.

The Regulatory Performance Officer will be responsible for reviewing, checking, or certifying the work of employees and monitoring work practices.

**APS6 Senior Regulatory Performance Officer, Systems and Processes**

**Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment**
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (police records check).
- Health clearance.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
- Specific Conditions:

- Some travel may be required, including overnight absences (expected to be limited in nature - 1 or 2 times per annum)
