**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Operations Management**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring all services are completed to a high standard and on time.
- Coordinate and schedule work to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a high level of safety and compliance with industry regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges to minimize disruption.

2. **Personnel Management**:

- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of technicians and support staff.
- Ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and tools for efficient performance.
- Manage employee schedules, monitor attendance, and oversee performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to boost morale and retention.

3. **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets for the workshop, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and recommend actions to meet financial targets.
- Approve expenditures and ensure all operations remain within financial guidelines.
- Manage invoicing, billing, and payment collections in a timely manner.

4. **Stock and Inventory Control**:

- Oversee stock levels, ensuring the availability of essential parts, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, ordering new materials as needed.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize wastage or excess stock.
- Liaising with suppliers and all stakeholders.

5. **Marketing and Business Development**:

- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase business visibility and attract new customers.
- Maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers, ensuring repeat business and favorable terms.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Promote the workshop’s services through digital, local, and direct marketing efforts.

6. **Customer Service and Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure excellent customer service, maintaining high satisfaction levels through effective communication and quality workmanship.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Implement quality control measures to meet and exceed industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in managing a mechanical workshop or similar technical operation.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Solid understanding of mechanical processes, equipment, and repair techniques.
- Demonstrated ability in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in inventory management and stock control.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies, especially in a B2B environment, is a plus.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a workshop setting.
- Relevant qualifications in Automotive, or a related field are preferred.
