Eds Automotive Solutions is a Mechanical workshop located in Mount Druitt, New South Wales and we are looking for our next Motor Mechanic At Eds Automotive Solutions we carry out basic vehicle servicing and diagnostics and are offering the following position:

Key Responsibilities:

· Successfully detect and diagnose faults in customer vehicles

· Repair and replace mechanical defective parts

· Assembling and installing mechanical components

· Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues

· Routine vehicle maintenance

· Vehicle safety checks

· Inspect vehicle computer

  • Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles

Other tasks may include, but not limited to:

  • Air conditioning servicing
  • Electrical systems
  • Engine performance
  • Install accessories or upgrade parts
  • Provide advice on vehicle maintenance
  • Maintain company parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

Each job is to be completed up to Australian Standards

Key Requirements:

  • Applicant will ideally hold relevant vocational or trade qualifications and must possess at least 1-Year of relevant employment experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
  • Industry knowledge and safe work practices / OH&S
  • Current drivers licence of in the process of acquiring a driving licence
  • Good work ethic and willingness to work
  • Self-Motivated and can work as a team
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good attitude towards work
  • Be fit and able to carry out manual labour

Position Offers:

  • Full-Time Hours
  • Permanent
  • Salary between $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation
