The Victorian Government established the Labour Hire Licensing Authority (LHA) to introduce a licensing system to regulate the provision of labour hire services across Victoria. The LHA undertakes a range of licensing, compliance and enforcement activities, maintains public registers and conducts research and education in accordance with the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic) (Act).
About the role
The Intelligence Compliance and Enforcement (ICE) Division promotes, monitors, investigates, and enforces compliance with the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2018 (Vic) and a broad range of relevant laws. The Division undertakes compliance and enforcement activities in relation to labour hire licence applicants, licence holders, unlicensed providers, and hosts both proactively and in response to complaints and intelligence that we receive from the public and other regulators.
Reporting to the Director of Intelligence, Compliance and Enforcement, the Principal Analyst will lead a small team of analysts to develop and deliver a program of intelligence, data and analytical work to support the objectives of the LHA. The role provides expert technical knowledge and support to the team and will strongly contribute to the development of an overarching intelligence and analytics strategy for the LHA. Given the size of the Intelligence and Analytics Team, the role is also expected to be ‘hands on' in the delivery of products while also supporting and building on the capability of the intelligence and analytics team.
This role has a flexible work location with an option of Melbourne CBD or Bendigo.
