The role
Reporting to the Creative, Digital and Social Media Manager you will be responsible for reviewing and endorsing strategies generated within the team to ensure they advance the departments strategic communication agenda and provide constructive feedback to learn members. You will also be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the workflow and work output of the Social and Digital Media team, in close and regular consultation with the Manager.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing strategic proactive social and digital media advice and assistance to senior departmental and Hospital and Health staff and stakeholders to help them achieve communication outcomes. You will also be responsible for Identifying, notifying, and advising the Manager of any emerging risks or issues that relate to the communication activities of Queensland Health.

The successful person
To be successful in the role, you will have a record of success in identifying, planning, implementing, and providing advice on creative, proactive social and digital media strategies in a high-pressure environment across a range of channels. You will also have the proven ability to supervise and mentor a team, including the allocation and prioritisation of work.

In addition to this, you will have a proven ability to develop, and oversee the development of, high quality social and digital media content within tight deadlines and to high standards and highly developed and demonstrated interpersonal skills including strong communication skills to effectively deal with external and internal stakeholders.
