**About Ampol**:
Ampol supplies fuel to approximately 80,000 business customers in diverse markets across the Australian economy, including defence, mining, transport, marine, agriculture, aviation, and other commercial sectors. **About the role**:
As part of the energy transition for transport fuels, Ampol is developing customer value propositions and new market positions in the energy markets to complement our traditional liquid fuels market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Digital Product Manager to join our talented and passionate team. The role requires someone with a passion for digital enablement of the customer experience and demonstrated expertise in creating and executing a vision for Digital apps that have translated into meaningful commercial outcomes.
Reporting to the Chief Brand Officer, you will be responsible for the feature ideation and prioritisation of key features and enhancements across a broad range of Products. You will partner with business owners and agile digital development teams to build and execute customer-led roadmaps that drive differentiation in market, maximising conversions and ensuring high customer satisfaction and engagement.

This is a broad Product Owner role in which you will not be pigeon-holed but use the full scope of your abilities to advocate for the Customer, bring stakeholders together, align visions, push for excellence and deliver great outcomes for Customers and Ampol.
The role is based in Sydney at our Head Office in Alexandria and includes hybrid working with flexibility dependent on scheduled delivery outcomes and stakeholder engagement requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Define the strategy, vision, and product roadmap for the Ampol app to guide product development from ideation to launch
- Demonstrate a passion for understanding and meeting customer needs in a digital context.
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing features or build further enhancements of the app to strengthen usability and customer experience
- Develop and manage feature requests into digital product roadmap
- Work with internal and external parties to align KPIs and create unique digital customer experiences and journeys
- Create insights and functional specifications to support wireframes and UX design.
- Initiation, launch and ongoing optimisation of new digital features
- Have a hands -on approach to co-ordinate designers, developers, UI/UX and external providers to deliver industry-leading products
- Support the development of a design system for mobile products with an agile delivery
- Work with a skilled set of developers/engineers/architects to bring the customer journeys to life by developing epics and user stories
- Develop a test and learn pipeline to optimise product conversion and engagement
- Contribute to the release of Ampol app digital products using (iterative/agile) approaches
- Lead agile practices and ceremonies with developers/engineers/architects to manage digital products through the entire software development lifecycle
**About you**:
You are a Digital professional with demonstrated capability in App feature ideation through to delivery across a large and complex supply chain ASX100 business.
Your 5 to 7 years’ experience will showcase strong examples of leading the execution of a digital roadmap that has driven positive commercial outcomes and the design of complex digitally native products on modern front-end frameworks.
You bring developed organisational skills with you and possess the capacity to be flexible in balancing priorities to meet/exceed customer needs.
You will have a passion for building integrated digital products to solve customer and business problems also have proven competencies in UX/UI design and user-centric design thinking.
