The Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC) is CSIRO’s national digital health research program, enabling the digital transformation of healthcare to improve services and clinical treatment for Australians and beyond.

We are actively seeking Deputy Lead Coordinator to join the FHIR Accelerator team in the Australian e-Health Research Centre (AEHRC), working closely with the Lead Coordinator of the FHIR Accelerator programme to drive the vision of the programme with our collaborators, stakeholders and within the AEHRC team and to provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the FHIR Accelerator program in the creation, development, management and support of open data exchange standards and capabilities to meet the current and future needs for Australia’s health system.

This opportunity comes with a high degree of flexibility in working arrangements from home and office set-up and has the option to pick a city of your choice, however, this role would require quite a reasonable amount of engagement with multiple stakeholders from the clinical to software industry stakeholders navigating through complex organisations and bureaucracies to build awareness and strong strategic engagements within CSIRO and beyond with our collaborators and industry partners.

**Your duties will include**:

- Driving the vision of the programme with our collaborators, stakeholders and within the AEHRC team
- Providing strategic leadership for all aspects of the FHIR Accelerator program in the creation, development, management and support of open data exchange standards and capabilities to meet the current and future needs of Australia’s health system
- Contributing to the development and growth of the Australian FHIR community
- Facilitating large workshops to drive collaborative decision-making and consensus-building.
- Engaging with relevant government agencies and other key partners to ensure objectives are aligned and work to respond to industry needs and government policy, as well as the political, social and organisational environment.
- Utilising project and document management tools/software as required to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects.
- Participating in industry and standards committees as required and nominated.

**Location**:Open to any major cities in AU however preference will be Brisbane,else Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra.

**Salary**:AU$146k - AU$161k plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**To be considered you will need**:

- Relevant bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience in digital health and digital health standards implementation programmes
- Demonstrated genuine passion for improving the healthcare system through the use of health data standards (FHIR, SNOMED CT, openEHR, LOINC, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to establish and develop strong jurisdictional, clinical, and software industry stakeholder relationships, engage effectively, and align with multiple organisations and maintain strong professional and collaborative working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Prior experience in navigating through and with large complex organisations and bureaucracies, overcoming barriers and roadblocks to building awareness and strategic engagement.
- Prior experience in facilitating large workshops and collaborative decision-making and consensus building.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically with the capability to look for innovative ways to create value for stakeholders and generate win-win opportunities.
- Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills, ability to multi-task, and coordinate complex programmes.
