**About the role..**
Our next Team Leader will support the Bankstown, Parramatta and Hornsby DES teams to achieve sustainable outcomes for customers with support needs. We are looking for someone who can ensure adequate coverage across DES employment services and assist with maximising employment, education, training and social inclusion through the provision of individualised services and supports.
- **A typical day can include**:

- Support the delivery of job readiness training sessions
- Assist with the placement of customers into sustainable employment
- Customer Acquisition
- Assist the Manager with onboarding processes for new employees
- Provide advice and guidance as to the delivery of post placement support to customers, that will allow them to obtain and sustain employment/educational outcomes
- Mentor and upskill your amazing team to deliver high quality services
- Build connections within the community; with employers, customers and community organisations.
- **About you..**:

- With a background in Employment Services you are passionate, driven to succeed and thrive on supporting customers to achieve their employment goals. As a people person, you will enjoy working in a fast paced, diverse and ever changing environment where no two days are the same..
- Your focus will be on supporting teams to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes for our customers.

**You will be able to clearly demonstrate the following**:

- Drive to meet or exceed targets & KPI’S
- Ability to quickly learn and use external system software
- Knowledgeable in the local labour market
- Ability to worker in high pressure environment and be solutions focused
- Criminal record check (essential)
- Working with children’s check (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or provide a medical exemption evidenced by an authorised medical practitioner
- Current Drivers Licence
