You're a strong Security Team Leader, or perhaps already a Manager, but you know you're ready for more.

You've built deep technical expertise. You've guided junior colleagues, taken the lead on incidents, and championed better tools, even when it wasn't officially part of your remit.

Now you're looking for a role where you can lead formally, influence direction, and shape the security roadmap. Somewhere you can own a function end-to-end, mentor a small team, and make meaningful decisions that protect critical data and services.

This is that role.

In this newly created position, you'll step into true leadership within a collaborative, forward-thinking financial services business. You'll lead two direct reports and be responsible for developing and executing the information security strategy while staying hands-on where it counts.

What You'll Lead

  • Design and maintain core security controls and policies
  • Identify and mitigate threats across the environment
  • Lead security projects and uplift initiatives
  • Develop playbooks and response procedures to strengthen readiness
  • Report on security effectiveness and advise leadership on risk posture
  • Educate and uplift security awareness across the business

What You'll Bring

·       Experience in information security operations, engineering, or architecture.

·       Hands-on capability in identity management, incident response, and cloud security.

·       Experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.

·       Knowledge of SIEM, PAM, and modern security tools.

·       Understanding of governance and control frameworks.

·       Calm and analytical under pressure, with strong communication skills.

·       A growth mindset and willingness to learn from experienced mentors.
