The organisation is looking to hire a Group Manager AP Shared Services - known internally as Manager AP - to lead their established Accounts Payable function. Due to the complexity of this organisation, it is essential that you can think critically to optimise upstream processes and be a trusted business partner & SME. You will be a thought leader in best in class solutions available to drive lean methodology & automation in the industry. Essentially, you will be able to enhance the brand of the function & business partner with key vendors & stakeholders.

The function has an extremely modern structure in terms of the procure 2 pay model, with an onshore team of operational leaders & AP Specialists focused on value add tasks in addition to BAU. This team are supported by a transactional processing offshore function.

**The Role**
- To develop a strategic vision & methodology to drive a culture of high performance; to enhance knowledge & develop skills
- Utilise your deep knowledge of best in class solutions in the Shared Services industry, to reengineer the model to cultivate talent, promote collaboration & build strategies of development & retention
- You will be a trusted SME to a diverse group of stakeholders who can build robust controls while concurrently looking at how the P2P function can support their unique requirements
- You will be able to provide insight & recommendations in building the optimal methodology to deliver effective P2P outcomes
- Exposure to relationship management of onshore/offshore functions and management of critical vendors
- Establish key performance objectives for the team & a service level agreement to integrate exceptional standards of customer satisfaction, underpinned by a culture of compliance and governance

About You:

- The ability to connect strategic goals with the growth of team performance & development
- You will be an exceptional business partner who can influence & manage relationships across a multi-faceted, geographically dispersed organisational landscape
- Essentially you will be a proven leader of onshore/offshore hybrid payables or Shared Services functions gained within a large, complex organisation
- Exposure to the implementation & reengineering of systems & process within a Shared Services environment
