We’re a boutique early childhood centre licensed for just 26 children, with two care environments ages 18 months to 6 years — offering a calm, personalised approach to early learning. Our small size allows us to truly get to know each child and family, and to support our educators in a collaborative, low-pressure environment.

About the Role:
As Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading one of the centre’s two rooms, supporting a small team of educators, and creating an engaging and nurturing space for children to grow, learn, and thrive. You’ll plan and deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF, mentor your team, and build strong, respectful relationships with families and staff.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Leading the daily operations of your care environment (room/centre)
Designing and delivering meaningful, child-led learning experiences and educational program
Guiding and mentoring a small team of educators
Establishing strong connections with children and their families
Documenting children’s learning and development
Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and care
Collaborating with the Centre Director to drive quality and continuous improvement
About You:
Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education
Previous experience in a Room Leader or senior educator position
Deep understanding of EYLF, NQS, and current early years practice
Natural leadership qualities with strong communication and interpersonal skills
A warm, engaging, and professional presence
Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
