Part-time Permanent Receptionist with a Strong Sales Focus

We’re seeking a motivated receptionist with a strong sales aptitude to join our team on a part-time permanent basis.
**Position Summary**:
As the first point of contact for our business, the receptionist will play a critical role in managing front desk operations, supporting administrative functions, and driving sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to convert inquiries into successful bookings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales and Customer Engagement**:
- Actively promote rental packages, rent-to-own options, and other services to potential customers.
- Handle inquiries about vehicle availability, pricing, and special promotions, aiming to close bookings.
- Upsell additional services, such as long-term hires and optional insurance.
- Build strong relationships with customers to foster repeat business.
- **Reception and Front Desk Duties**:
- Greet customers and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming calls promptly, providing accurate information or redirecting as needed.
- Manage walk-in inquiries and guide customers through the rental process.
- **Administrative and Operational Support**:
- Manage and update booking records in our system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process payments, invoices, and security deposits.
- Assist in preparing daily sales and rental reports for the management team.
- Support the team with vehicle allocation, scheduling, and customer follow-ups.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely vehicle handovers and returns.
- Coordinate with the cleaning and maintenance teams to monitor vehicle readiness.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on customer preferences and market trends.
**Key Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a sales-focused role, preferably in customer service or retail.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly and persuasive demeanor with a strong customer focus.
