The opportunity:
Our Marketing, Customer & Digital team are going through a period of exciting change, and a new opportunity now exists for a Head of Brand Strategy to join our team.
We are searching for a highly enthusiastic individual to contribute to an energetic team who are building a collaborative and high-performance culture and who are truly connected to our purpose of helping people embrace Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.
This is more than a senior leadership role. It’s your opportunity to shape a brand that truly makes a difference in our customer’s lives. As the Head of Brand Strategy, you will take on board the senior stakeholder feedback to build and execute powerful brand strategies that amplify our purpose, drives brand awareness and positions AIA as leading Life, Health and Wellbeing insurer.
Working closely with our General Manager Marketing, Customer & Digital, as well as the Chief Marketing and Propositions Officer, the CEO and executive leadership team, you will drive the direction, development and consistent delivery of AIA’s brand campaigns, which integrate across our customer and channel marketing plans.
To do this successfully you will:
- Collaborate with key senior stakeholders and act as the strategic force behind the AIA brand, including AIA Vitality and AIA Health- Work collaboratively as a member of the Marketing, Customer and Digital Leadership team to ensure understanding with the wider marketing team to create and implement integrated marketing plans across owned and paid channels as well as our PR and communications team- Lead the relationship with our external creative agency and media and event agencies to deliver on brand campaigns and sponsorships and events- Build the brand content strategy and playbook to align to the overall creative platform and brand strategy- Lead the brand strategy team and the creative services team, growing capability by developing talent and succession- Experience in a strategic marketing role in a B2B and B2C environment- Proven success in defining and delivering innovative brand strategies- Ability to lead, influence, collaborate, negotiate and inspire at all levels of an organisation, especially at an Executive level- An inspiring people leader with a collaborative style and a drive for continuous improvement- Experience managing media planning, buying and budgets and agency management
