**About the role**

In your role as Head of Brand Marketing & Content you are not only the custodian of our brand heritage and DNA, you will also be responsible for the strong leadership of a team of brand and content evangelists who understand the value and power a compelling brand story brings to building long term, sustainable growth. In this role, you will be a member of the Brand and Marketing Leadership team reporting to the Group Head of Brand and Marketing.

This position exists to deliver Cbus' Brand and Content strategy and plan, telling our story for Cbus Super and Media Super to connect emotionally with new and existing members across Australia. It is responsible for Brand strategy, architecture and governance, developing and executing brand marketing campaigns, partnership and event activations. Further, it is responsible for the development of our Cbus Super and Media Super content strategies across social and other digital channels that will enhance Cbus' identity and positioning in the market.

This newly created role is responsible for the consistent way the Cbus and Media Super brands show up in the market across all channel touchpoints. It includes embedding best practice creative design principles via an in-house ' **centre of creative excellence'** design studio and help shape the evolution of our hybrid creative agency model.

**Key Responsibilities**

As the Head of Brand Marketing & Content, your key responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the development and delivery of the brand positioning strategy for both Cbus Super and Media Super, and bring to life the external expression of the Cbus brand ambition and value proposition with distinctiveness and authenticity.
- Leading the execution and ongoing optimisation of brand marketing and brand activation campaigns across multi-channel environments (ATL, Digital, Social, Partnerships and Events) to continually reinforce our story and positioning. Responsible for inspiring a dedicated team of brand and marketing professionals, to deliver effective brand marketing campaigns to grow the salience of the Cbus and Media Super brands amongst members and prospects.
- Day to day management of the member facing social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and lead on the social media strategy to expand the Cbus footprint across platforms.
- Cultivating a positive environment of insight driven continuous improvement, embedding effective ways-of-working and building on capability amongst the broader team of brand, social and content professionals. Working cross-functionally across the broader business unit (Brand, Lifecycle Marketing and Automation, Product and Propositions, Digital and Member Experience and Public Affairs) to develop the Cbus content strategy for our owned channels that will bring our brand story to life.
- Oversight of Cbus Super and Media Super Brand Governance and architecture frameworks including developing, maintaining, and embedding brand playbooks and guidelines across the Fund to ensure consistency with the way our brand shows up internally and externally.
- Management of the Creative Design Hub and elevating it as a true 'centre of excellence' to that will help enable the Brand and Marketing team to deliver creative effectiveness in support of achieving growth for Cbus

**About You
**- You will be a senior leader and have demonstrated experience in leadership roles within a similar regulated environment. Superannuation industry experience will be highly regarded.
