We’re looking for a **Team Leader - Scheduling** to join our Community Aged Care team. This role is at the heart of what we do, making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time, so our clients receive the care they need, when they need it.
**A bit about the role**
No two days will look exactly the same, and that’s what makes it exciting. As Team Leader - Scheduling, you’ll be leading a team of Scheduling Officers who coordinate support workers to deliver in-home services to older people across the community.
You’ll be:
- **Leading and mentoring** your team to perform at their best, coaching, guiding, and growing together.
- **Managing rosters** to ensure our clients receive care that’s timely, consistent, and aligned with their preferences. This includes clinical staff (nurses and allied health) plus Support Workers
- **Using systems like AlayaCare** to optimise workforce scheduling and keep everything running smoothly.
- **Making sense of the data**, identifying opportunities for improvement, and putting ideas into action.
- **Working across teams**, including Clinicians and Care Partners, to keep services seamless and client-focused.
- **Keeping us compliant**, staying across industrial awards and aged care standards to make sure our work is not just great, but done right.

**What we’re looking for**
You're someone who leads with empathy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys bringing order and clarity to complexity. You don’t just "manage" a team, you build one.
You’ll bring:
- A **Certificate IV** in Administration, Business, Health, Community Services or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a **team leadership** or supervisory role, ideally within scheduling or rostering
- Strong understanding of **workforce planning tools**, experience with **AlayaCare** is a big plus
- A working knowledge of **industrial relations obligations** and aged care service requirements, knowledge of SCHADS is definitely an advantage
- Great communication and people skills, with a natural ability to build rapport, resolve issues, and stay calm under pressure
- The ability to **juggle competing priorities** with professionalism, warmth, and a dash of humour
- A current **NDIS Worker Screening Check** (or willingness to obtain)
