**About the role**

You will play a pivotal role alongside a high-calibre engineering team contributing to building, developing, and maintaining software solutions. The tech lead owns the engineering practice, product delivery and people management for the squad.

**Skills and experience for this role**:

- Demonstrated experience working as a Technical Lead or similar.
- Strong proficiency in backend Java development with a solid understanding of Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
- AWS development, configuration and deployment.
- Solid understanding of microservices design principles, containerisation (e.g., Docker), and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Automation Tools.
- Good listening and communication skills and ability to receive and give constructive feedback.
- Challenge established ways of doing business while influencing desired outcomes, prioritising competing business priorities, and meeting company vision and strategy.
