What you’ll do:
Working within a team of 5 you will be responsible for all things transport. Our transport team work to high standards for our customers to ensure expectations are met each and every time. You will be a logical thinker who loves to solve difficult problems with effective solutions and a strong sense of urgency. You are also a multi-tasker who works hard to get things done with mínimal fuss, taking ownership of your day to day. Communication will be key in this role.

This role is key for meeting our customers’ expectations and plays an important role in our business. If you are looking for a challenge and love to be kept busy this could be the job for you.

Purpose:
Positions holders are responsible for logistics planning, controlling, and implementing processes, for example related to global fleet management, utilisation, allocation including:

- Planning & Control.
- Movement & Storage.
- General Logistics optimisation.
- Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes.
- Cargo planning, and strategies to improve depot/ logistics service centre operations.
- Analysing and projecting transportation costs.
- Coordinating customs clearances and permits.
- Planning addresses capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Administration of mobilisation and de-mobilisation / delivery of equipment and material to all new and existing project sites across defined territories, ensure submission of necessary documentation and update relevant systems and databases.
- Ensure correct documentation of import and export processes for all materials and related equipment, liaising with appropriate authorities, as necessary.
- Administration of required cargo/driver documentation and certifications.
- Responsible for collection and delivery of equipment to and from customer sites.
- Develop and maintain direct lines of communication with all transport suppliers to ensure all requirements are met.
- Produce relevant performance monitoring data with regard to On Time in Full and transport recoveries.
- Identify suitable equipment to fulfil contract requirements.
- Ensure compliance to Aggreko procedures including ISO/ Internal/ External/ PLC Audits.
- Always ensure strict adherence to Aggreko’s QHSE policies and practices.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

- University Degree/Specialised Diploma/Vocational Training.
- Previous experience in a transport / equipment coordination role.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, and sometimes stressful environment.
- A Solutions driven problem solver.
- Ability to self-direct and self-manage.
- Positive in nature.
- Ability to multi-task essential.
- Flexible.
- Collaborative team player.
- Possess tip-top organisational skills and a can-do attitude.
- Have amazing communication skills.
- Experience in International Logistics is an advantage but not essential.
