**About the team**:
Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

A rare opportunity as National Location Planning Manager has arisen within our passionate Location Planning team.

**About the role**:
Reporting to the Head of Location Planning, you’ll be empowered to identify and quantify the long-term potential for new Supermarkets within the Australian marketplace.

**You’ll also**:

- Ensure we open the right store and format, in the right location, at the right time.
- Provide Insight with a focus on space, competitor activity and the changing population to all parts of the Coles Group.
- Ensure that the team are at the cutting edge of global best practice.
- Ensure that sufficient training and development is put in place across the team.

**About you and your skills**:
With proven Location Planning experience, you ideally come from a large retailer or specialist retail/ property consultancy.

Degree qualified in a relevant area (e.g. Geography, Economics, Urban Planning, Geographical Information Systems), you have strong line management experience with a track record of developing talent within a team.

**You’ll also have**:

- Strong Project Management capabilities
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to “story tell” to senior stakeholders
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workload across different areas of the business.
