**The Company**
True Foods is a rapidly growing 100% Australian-owned specialist manufacturer of flat bread products, both private label and branded. They are disrupting the market with their Simsons Pantry brand and due to ongoing innovation and launching new product lines into new categories they are in need to add a National Account Manager to the team, who will be responsible for the Woolworths and Aldi accounts.
Outside of producing a well-loved and high-quality range of wraps, flatbreads, Naans and now gluten free products, the company prides itself on nurturing a stand-out culture that is dedicated, authentic, humble, and curious - and the business is passionate about their product, customer, and, as importantly, their people.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the NAM, will work with the Sales and Marketing team to maintain and manage the strong Woolworths & Aldi relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, communicate and execute sales plans in line with business strategies to deliver profitable growth and diversification in accordance with the Company’s strategic plans
- Build all promotional mechanics and joint customer planning to ensure volume and growth targets are realised.
- Drive new business development negotiations and commercial contracts in line with the Company’s strategies in conjunction with the Head of Sales
- Develop, maintain, and build outstanding professional relationships with all Woolworths & Aldi contacts.
- Foster a cooperative culture within the sales team that promotes collaboration and cooperation across the entire business
**Requirements**:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or extensive demonstrated practical experience within a FMCG environment
- Recent experience in commercial roles with Woolworths and/or Aldi
- Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing a successful sales strategy
- Proven successful track record in sales, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives, and the strength of commercial returns from a partnering approach. A solutions focused approach to team and stakeholder problems, who can lead by example and is able to put the company ahead of the individual.
- Previous experience of working within a multi-skilled team, with the ability collaborate and cohesively work together towards a common objective.
- The individual will be a strong influencer and negotiator, an energetic team player, have proven business development success as well as be a proactive communicator.
