- ServiceStream's Utilities division are currently seeking a Project Control Lead to join our growing company.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
- Location: Brisbane/Jimboomba, QLD
- Reporting Line: Project Director

Key Responsibilities- Responsible for management of project controls, including schedule and cost controls-
- Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools, resource and histogram reporting.-
- Provide project reporting to support Project Director.-
- Support program integration, governance and project controls best practices.-
- Monitor program compliance in respect of contractual obligations-
- Ensure effective scheduling and cost control to Management team and finance department-
- Working with project managers, engineers and finance business partners to ensure weekly / monthly reports in line with the reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.-
- Maintain spending within limits of authority and maintain costs within budget requirements.-
- Assist and ensure the project teams prepare and manage the process of monthly financial claims to the Client including preparation of all supporting documentation.-
- Ensure that project/contract staff have implemented and are maintaining appropriate cost control measures, contractual notices, claim procedures and tools to manage all contractual provisions.-
- Responsible for the generation of formal Lessons Leaned for projects controls aspects of projects-
- Identify schedule trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvement effort-
- Preparation of project EOT claims with associated schedules- This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.

About You- At least 5-7years’ experience managing P6 schedules and advanced knowledge of project cost control tools(essential)-
- Previous experience within the construction, civil construction and/or utilities industries (essential)-
- Previous experience within the water/sewerage industry (desirable-
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Business or Construction Management or a related field preferred; or equivalent years of work experience(essential)-
- General Construction Induction course/ White Card(essential)-
- Driver’s license(essential)-
- PMI Certification is not required but strongly preferred. (desirable)-
- Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint & Outlook-
- Intermediate-Advanced skills in Primavera P6-
- Ability to work with Mathematical concepts, write routine reports and correspondence-
- Ability to work under pressure when confronted with conflicting priorities and autonomouslyAbout Us
