Dean & Ling Executive are proud to partner with ARTC Inland Rail for this once-in-a-generation project and are seeking expressions of interest from Project Control Leaders to work on this exciting project.
Inland Rail (IR) is a 1,700km fast freight backbone, connecting Melbourne and Brisbane that will transform how goods are moved around Australia, better linking business, manufacturers and producers to national and global markets.
The Project Controls Lead (PCL) provides day-to-day oversight, leadership, training and development across their Controls Team. The Controls team plays an important role in providing support, advice and guidance both to the direct budget owner and broader leadership team across the Inland Rail Program. This team provides controls services in the key areas of scope and program management, cost forecasting, risk management, and project reporting. The team is responsible for managing all project controls systems feeding into project and program reporting, enabling clarity on progress and performance through various reports supplied to multiple stakeholders.
The PCL provides effective leadership and management of their team, promoting a positive and constructive workplace culture that consistently delivers high quality services; and takes accountability that creates efficiencies in the way functions / project groups work together.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure compliance to Program Controls procedures and processes including Schedule, Cost, Change, Risk Management and Document Control.
Ensure scope, schedule, cost and risks are integrated (integrated baseline).
Support preparation of contract requirements that provide the organisation the tools and governance to Control, Monitor, Report and Manage, project objectives and risks.
Provide support in Tender Interactives, tender evaluation processes to ensure scope, schedule, cost, commercial and risk are integrated.
Support Project Leadership Team in managing scope, schedule, cost, contract, and risk to ensure integrated reporting of project performance.
Monitor, collect, consolidate, analyse, and report on project productivity.
Provide project teams with project status updates, including early warnings, risks, issues, and opportunities.
About You
Previous Project Controls Experience with a strong delivery background.
Knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Contracts and Construction work processes.
Previous experience with project controls software such as Prism, P6, ARM.
Advanced in Excel.
Proficient in Power Bi.
Highly developed leadership, negotiation, influencing, analytical, problem resolution, interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated cost, budget and project management experience.
