Creative Producer

Melbourne, Australia Swinburne University of Technology Full time

Join the dynamic and innovative Swinburne Brand and Marketing team
- Fulltime, ongoing position at our Hawthorn campus
- HEW 6 salary + 17% super

**About the Role**
Got a sharp eye, creative instincts, and knack for making things happen? Swinburne’s Creative team is looking for a Creative Producer to join us in shaping high-impact visual content across video and photography.

Working closely with our Visual Media Coordinator, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders from across the Future Students and Marketing teams to bring a wide range of creative projects to life. Think student acquisition, engagement, and reputation-building content that’s on-brand, on-budget, and on time.

You’ll lead projects from scope to screen — developing concepts, wrangling timelines, managing budgets, and making sure every piece of content serves a purpose. You’ll work with our in-house creatives and trusted external suppliers to produce work that’s not only aligned with Swinburne’s goals but also looks damn good.

No two projects will be the same (okay, some will be similar) — but they’ll all rely on your calm coordination, clear communication and creative flair.

**Who are we after?**
You’re a doer with great taste and even better organisation skills. You know how to manage multiple creative projects at once, juggle stakeholders, and keep things moving — without breaking (too much of) a sweat. You know your way around on set and have some hands on-skills with the tools in your back pocket, or that you’re looking to build on.

**To succeed in this role, you’ll need to**:

- Have experience as a producer or production manager in a large or complex organisation
- Be confident delivering video and photo projects across multiple formats and channels
- Know how to keep creative projects on time, on budget and on brief
- Understand how to produce content that speaks to different audiences — and works across digital, print and social
- Be skilled at writing and negotiating project briefs, scoping resourcing needs and aligning outcomes with business priorities
- Be comfortable working with in-house teams and external vendors — and know when to bring in the right creative muscle for the job
- Have a range of practical skills, particularly in post-production workflows in the Adobe suite for motion assets and photography

**Qualifications**
A degree in marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
