**About the role**:

- 20 hours per week part time educator role - this role requires you work Monday to Friday between the hours of 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Afternoons only during term time and block shifts during vacation care
- Perfect shifts while studying or if you’re looking for a permanent part-time role to gain stability
- Above award wages S26-$29 p/h + super
- Opportunity to study Certificate 3 through the organisation
- Gain valuable experience and be mentored by a passionate Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator

**The successful applicant will have**:

- A strong passion for working with children and relevant experience in the sector
- The ability to communicate with children and colleagues in a professional manner
- Will be open minded, flexible, and confident
- Will have a strong understanding of what it means to be a Mandatory Reporter
- **Required: a valid and current NSW Paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).**:

- **Required: proof of your full COVID-19 Vaccination Status.**:

- **Required: HLTAID004 / 012 **Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting or willingness to obtain (1 day training).
- **Preferred**:you have a working knowledge of the NQF and NQS.
- **Preferred: CHCPRT001 **Identify and respond to children and young people at risk - Accredited Child Protection or willingness to obtain (1 day training).

**Child Safety**:
Looking for an individual that understands, adheres, and promotes The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. In your position, you will create a culture, adopt strategies, and take action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.
