ABOUT US
Appleseed Gardening is a growing business located in Marrickville, looking for a qualified landscaper to join our team. We focus on residential landscaping throughout the Inner West, and have a reputation for completing detailed and quality work.
This is a full time role, includes a company vehicle and tools, and is offering a competitive salary above award. The role is flexible, and you will be exposed to a variety of aspects of landscape construction.
ABOUT YOU
Appleseed is looking for a qualified landscaper who can lead a team. You must have a formal qualification in landscape construction, plus experience in a similar role in the industry.
You will need skills in:
- Setting out of new landscape jobs;
- Ordering materials and coordinating tasks onsite;
- Day to day running of the job, prioritising tasks, managing the worksite;
- Delegation and managing a team of three;
- Hands on experience and skills in paving and stone work, drainage, decking, timber work, turf and planting plus other general landscaping tasks;
- Competent use of relevant tools and power machinery;
- Experience in irrigation, soft landscaping and relationship management with suppliers.
A drivers licence is essential, and we also need a good sense of humour, open communication with staff and clients, an eye for detail, and a love of the outdoors, landscaping and the horticulture industry.
There is scope to move into liaising with clients, quoting on new construction jobs and management of the business.
Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
