Chatswood, Australia Silkari Hotels Pty Ltd Full time

Silkari Suites at Chatswood is located in the heart of Chatswood’s shopping and entertainment precinct offering a variety of studio, one and two-bedroom apartments.

We are looking for a customer-focused Guest Service Agent to assist in the day-to-day operations of our Front Office team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Check-in and check-out guests,
- Answer incoming calls and attend to guest queries,
- Enter data into the system and balance it at the end of each shift,
- Issue room keys to guests and ensures procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality,
- Provide friendly, personalised customer service at all times,
- recommend restaurants and places of interest according to guests' needs,
- ensure the smooth running of the reception desk,
- Other varied hotel administration tasks,
- Maintain a high quality of work in a busy environment,
- Work collaboratively with the front office team in the day-to-day running of the hotel.

**Skills and Experience**:
As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service you will need to possess:

- Proven passion for customer service,
- High attention to detail, self-motivated, task and results-driven, and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,
- Outstanding written & verbal communication skills,
- The ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure,
- A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation,
- Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster.

**Salary**: $21.15 - $30.00 per hour
