- AIR6500 is the RAAF’s $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked ‘system of systems’ that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- You’ll establish the program supply support capability including inventory management, Asset Management, Storage to support AIR6500. Additionally, you’ll manage the Government Furnished Material (GFM) requests to the Commonwealth, receipt and fit for purpose requirements, return and/or authorised disposal of all provided GFM.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering and/or significant relevant experience within the Defence industry.
- Demonstrated management or leadership experience including the ability to liaise with internal and external customers, service contractors and providers.
- Extensive experience in the use of an Inventory Management Systems.

**Special Requirements**:

- As NV1 clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible and maintain this level of security clearance.
