- AIR6500 is the RAAF’s $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked ‘system of systems’ that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- You’ll coordinate with the Commonwealth for expediting Government Furnished Material (GFM) IAW the GFM Plan, manage the GFM Register within the LMA Asset Management Tool (AMT) and ensure it is maintained. Additionally, you’ll coordinate GFM activities, communicate with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the procurement of items/spares and consumables by working with the procurement function.

**About you**:

- Tertiary qualification in electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering and relevant experience within the Defence industry.
- Significant experience using DEFLOGMAN, MILIS, eMRD, CAMM2, MEX, OPUS10, Omega PS or other similar logistics or maintenance systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge in maintenance and repair methodologies and the ability to implement and maintain structured material management plans to meet maintenance, operational and quality objectives, producing timely and accurate written reports as required.
- Significant experience in the planning of material management and equipment associated within a large and technically complex facility, material planning and tracking of scheduled work programs within a quality system.

**Special Requirements**:

- As a NV1 clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible and maintain this level of security clearance.
