**About the program**

AIR6500 is the RAAF’s $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked ‘system of systems’ that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- As the Verification and Validation Lead, you will lead V&V activities with the customer, broader SEIT team, product teams and suppliers to achieve system V&V with overall system acceptance the delivered outcome.

Some key responsibilities include;
- Overall responsibility for AIR6500 performance of V&V
- Ensure the V&V has an integrated approach, defined in plans, approved and followed including the establishment of formal working groups
- Delivering V&V outcomes within an Agile delivery framework
- Work with the Systems Engineering team to establish the Verification Cross Reference Matrix ensuring customer agreement through an Agile delivery process
- Work with product teams, specialty teams to ensure a ‘left shift’ test approach providing OQE for V&V Define requirements and ensure acquisition of infrastructure to support V&V such as labs, tooling, licences, customer furnished items, etc.**About you**:

- To be successful in the role you will have extensive knowledge & experience of Defence Test & Evaluation, demonstrated experience leading successful outcomes in a large delivery team, along with;
- Advanced experience working and leading contractual processes and deliverables
- Control Account Management (CAM) including an understanding of Earned Value Management
