Airborne Solutions Australia provides aerial surveillance services under contract to the Australian Border Force as the largest civil maritime surveillance operation of its kind in the world, and a search-and rescue capability across nearly 10 percent of the earth's surface under Australian Maritime Safety Authority.

**The Role**
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure that all activities are conducted compliantly in accordance with all Federal, State, Industry Legislation, Regulations, Standards & Guidelines;
- Review and analyse current contract requirements, technology, systems, processes employed and performance data;
- Work closely with the Flight, Aircrew and Mission Systems departments to ensure familiarity with current mission system changes and improvements, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, adoption of emerging technology, and efficiency gains and/or cost savings;
- Conduct operational employment SWOT analysis for emerging opportunities and contract renewal programs in cooperation with key stakeholders to identify actionable strategies resulting in a successful rebid and growth;
- Prepare and deliver high quality, effective and tailored; plans & strategy, presentations, reports, tender and proposal documentation;
- Work with the Contract Managers to ensure continued and optimised customer service delivery, client relationships and quality assurance;
- Represent Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia at client meetings, industry forums and committees as required.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications and Clearances**
- Formal qualifications in Management/Aviation or relevant professional experience.
- Australian Citizen
- Eligible to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance
**Required Experience**
- Experience in a senior/management role within Defence, Government, Commercial or relevant operational environments is highly desirable;
- Experience in dealing with Company, Government, Defence and commercial leaders and decision makers with the demonstrated ability to exercise positive influence at senior levels;
- Relevant experience introducing into service new technology
- Sound technical, regulatory and contract management;
- Appropriate range of computing, analysis and presentation skills for the role.
**Desirable Experience**
- Relevant aircrew qualification and experience
- Recognised formal training qualifications
- Defence, ISR, maritime surveillance and/or airborne SAR operations
- Relevant Defence Operational Test and Evaluation program experience
- High value commercial contracts, bids & tender preparation;
