Account Manager - Fasteners
- Brisbane North Focused with 1 week/month travel to Regional QLD
- An established player in the fasteners, anchoring and fixings space
- Managing the business’ existing account and growing new business.

**The Role**
This role is an integral part of the expansion plans in QLD. You will be responsible for maximizing sales and profit volume in our client’s hardware stores, distribution channel, electrical wholesale and plumbing merchant customer base within a specific territory. The role is mainly focused on managing existing relationships however there is an element of new business to the role. You will largely be dealing with branch managers, procurement managers and business owners.

**The Person**
- The Most Important Thing: Proven track record of success within a channel role OR selling to a distribution channel
- We are also looking for someone who has a stable track record.
- The ideal applicant will have experience managing a distribution channel (I.e., Bunnings, Mitre10, Plumbing stores and other independent hardware stores).
- Our client is looking for an individual with lots of energy, mouldable character and the hunger to get out there and build strong relationships.
- You will ideally come from a hardware and tooling background or any related building/construction products (i.e., electrical, plumbing, or other related products).
- You will need to be fully autonomous, have relatively thick skin and have a solutions based approach and be proactive in their attitude to the job.
