We're representing a high-growth privately owned group operating across infrastructure, property, and services. Backed by a strong leadership team and undergoing continued national expansion, this business is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join their collaborative South Brisbane head office.

The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role across management reporting, project revenue, and business partnering activities. This is a diverse role offering exposure across multiple entities and contract types (fixed price, cost-plus, and property-related), with an emphasis on accuracy, initiative, and ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with month-end processes – journals, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions
  • Partner with project managers on project claims, revenue recognition, and contract performance
  • Review and calculate customer payment claims, ensuring compliance with contract terms
  • Prepare management reporting packs with analysis and commentary
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow reporting
  • Liaise across finance and operations to drive process improvements and systems optimisation (NetSuite)
  • Assist with debtor management, property revenue, and ad hoc analysis

About You

You're a degree-qualified accountant, ideally part or newly CA/CPA qualified, with an interest in management accounting, project accounting, or broader commercial finance. You'll bring strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and the confidence to work across both finance and operational teams.

You'll thrive in a fast-moving, hands-on environment where initiative, problem solving, and process improvement are valued. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
