Are you an innovative, highly organised, problem solver passionate about Project Management? The ACT DXC Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) has an opening for a Project Support Officer.

The Project Coordinator is an important role to the program or project team. You will support a Project Manager to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will overseer small parts of the larger project or program and will be responsible for the administrative tasks. Based in Canberra with hybrid mix of working from home and in the office, you would join a passionate team of experts working across the country.

To succeed as a DXC Project Support Officer you will need to be highly organised, dynamic, and outcome-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and experience in meeting hard deadlines as a part of a supportive team.

**What will keep you busy**:

- Maintain and monitoring the project and the artefacts
- Organising, attending, and participating in client meetings
- Chairing and facilitating meetings when appropriate and distributing the minutes to all stakeholders
- Preparing reports for the client on the progression of the project or program
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Assisting the PM in financial and governance management such as change requests, delay notices, work orders, acceptance certificates and invoicing/billing
- Supporting the project or program team
- Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings
- Undertaking project tasks as required and developing project strategies
- Ensuring all documentation of the project is maintained appropriately
- Assessing the program or projects risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable

**What you will bring to the role**:

- 2 years’ experience in a Project coordination/support role
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile projects
- Proven experience in developing and supporting key internal and client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills: the ability to compact and convey information in a confident, clear, and straight-forward manner
- A positive, enthusiastic, co-operative and service focused attitude

**Clearance**

To be eligible for this position, you must have an active Australian security clearance at a minimum of Baseline level.
