We have a client looking for a hands-on Leading Hand, initially starting in Gold Coast with future projects around Gold Coast up to Brisbane.

You will have the opportunity to run your own teams on a day-to-day basis whilst reporting to the area Supervisor.

Whilst this is a casual position it is on-going with the opportunity for permanency.

Hourly rate, daily travel allowance and weekly pay.

**Work Includes**:

- Storm water and Drainage
- Pavements
- Roads
- Bulk earthworks
- Final trim
- Grade Checking
- Confident operating plant
- Concreting
- Leading a team of employees including sub-contractors, labour hire and perm staff

**Applicants must have**:

- Previous Leading Hand experience in a civil role
- Strong leadership skills
- Plant tickets with experience operating
- White Card
- TopCon GPS experience
- Able to read plans
- Competent with technology
- Able to lead by example
- Able to think ahead and organise a team
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Available to work long days, 6 days per week
- Must have a good attitude
