About the Business Unit
Marngoneet Correctional Centre is a 559 male medium security facility that houses a mix of sentenced and remand prisoners, the role of the facility is to contain prisoners safely, securely and humanely, focusing on the individual needs of the men with the aim of providing a successful transition back into the community or on their continued journey through the prison system. As part of Marngoneet, the Karreenga Annexe contains an additional 300 protection prisoners bringing the entire prison population to 859 spread across two prison sites but managed by the one leadership team.

About the Role
This Support Officer will provide administration support to the Offender Management team within the prison, including data entry, maintaining records and general administration. A key function of this role will be administration of the Case Management Review Committee (CMRC) process. This will include scheduling with relevant stakeholders, gathering of information about prisoners' progress and preparing minutes of the meeting in a timely manner. The role will ensure that the appropriate documentation is prepared, and CRMC information is recorded into the relevant prison databases.
This position will require direct prisoner contact and may involve weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the VPS Determination.

**Some of your duties may include**:

- Generate, prepare and maintain all documentation, referrals and schedules pertaining to CMRC.
- Assist with administrative paperwork relating to pre/post meeting actions as a result of the CMRC.
- Input any data outcomes as required on to the department's prison information management system (PIMS) or E*Justice.
- Maintain data integrity of attendance records, databases and spreadsheets.
- Prepare and disseminate accurate minutes of relevant meetings.

About You
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Departmental specific software, including PIMS and Lotus Notes.

- Your immunisation history statement (available via your myGov account)

Other documentation outside the above will not be accepted as evidence of having received your COVID-19 vaccine doses.
