**The Role**:
Johns Lyng Group are currently looking for a Purchasing Officer to join the purchasing team and support with day-to-day duties to ultimately achieve targets and company set goals. Reporting into the Purchasing Manager, you will be required to support the team source the best products and supplies at a competitive price in the current market.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Management and maintenance of spreadsheets and registers.
- Raise purchase orders for the business when required.
- Review and managing inventory levels.
- Request for quotes from various suppliers and analysing best pricing in line with business strategy.
- Liaise with external suppliers of the business and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Key-in invoices and work with closely with the accounts payable team.
- Develop, and improve processes.
**About You**:
- A degree in a relevant class of business - required.
- Supply Chain Management or Logistics major - highly preferrable.
- An understanding of purchasing and/or logistics (required).
- A strong knowledge of software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Determined with a willingness to learn.
- Extremely motivated whilst demonstrating drive and energy.
- Positive & pro-active attitude.
- Ability to manage a demanding and changing workload & competing priorities.
