The Table Office, which is responsible for providing procedural advice and administrative services to support the operations of the House of Representatives, Federation Chamber and some parliamentary committees is seeking a Programming Assistant in an ongoing full-time role.
**About the role**
The Programming Assistant will provide personal support to the Clerk Assistant (Table) and undertake a range of administrative tasks in support of the sittings and other functions of the House of Representatives, principally:
- Preparing the Daily Program for the House and Federation Chamber;
- Prepare and be responsible for the Events in Progress captioning system;
- Process answers to Questions in Writing by Members of Parliament to Ministers;
- Providing administrative support to the parliamentary Selection Committee; and
- Managing the production and distribution of tribute volumes.
**What we are looking for**:
Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Keen eye for detail.
