About the Role*
We are currently recruiting an experienced Events & Community Fundraising Coordinator to join our Development team. In this permanent full-time position, you will report to the Events & Community Fundraising Manager and a play a vital role in delivering community fundraising campaigns and signature events including Million Paws Walk and CupCake Day.
The Events & Community Fundraising team is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of events and community fundraising campaigns to grow income, increase engagement and raise awareness of both state-wide and national digital and in-person peer-to-peer events.

Responsibilities will include*

Coordinate the end to end delivery of multi-channelled fundraising events and campaigns, such as Million Paws Walk and national/state based campaigns, with the aim of increasing support and engagement with the community to maximise the organisation’s fundraising efforts
- Lead small scale projects under the guidance of the Events & Community Fundraising Manager
- Co-ordinate activities associated with fundraising events including obtaining and assessing competitive quotes for event planning, coordinating supplier delivery and post campaign reporting to ensure event delivery within budget
- Support the Events & Community Fundraising Manager with the ongoing development of new event partnerships at both a community and corporate level
- Provide support and guidance to volunteers and supporters that are involved in the events & community fundraising programs
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by effectively communicating and working collaboratively with peers across all departments

Key Skills and Experience*
- Demonstrated success in executing events & community fundraising programs, including digital promotion and engagement
- Demonstrated success working with community groups and volunteers
- Proficiency in fundraising CRM with knowledge of fundraising platforms such as Funraisin and Campaign Monitor is highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups and suppliers
- Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging work environment

Recruitment Requirements*
- Willingness to undergo a national police check
- Ability to work on weekends and outside business hours as required by individual events
- A valid driver’s license
- Current and valid COVID-19 vaccination (primary course), unless a medical exemption applies
